I got a lovely fluffy dressing gown and 1 card. I have 3 kids all grown [6 g,kids] Wonder if the 2 lads thought mothers day was May like a few on here did I don't mind any-way and have always told my family not to get me flowers for such occasions they are too over=priced I pick my own from my garden all through spring and summer they smell loads better than shop bought and I am actually proud of them.

I got a lovely bunch of flowers with a teddy stuck in them. But the thing I loved most was the card my 4 year old made at play group and went to pain staking lengths to hide from me.

Not me because I warned my kids and husband not to buy me any because of the cost, all the florists and market stalls by me, have nearly doubled there prices, so I would rather not have them.
But my eldest son took me out for a mexican meal last night with his girlfriend and her mom, it was a really nice night, it was his first mothers day where he has been working, and he made me so proud.
