no its not the answer and it wouldnt stop affairs. a lot of people who have affairs do it because the like the danger element and polygamy wouldn't give them that level of gratification

That is like committing a crime to fit or justify the punishment!!! whatever name you want to call it or whichever law you want to implement it's not going to change the fact that most people are promiscuous. It's the pattern of our behavior, or as some may call it, our moral fiber, that's got to be addressed.
