some questions show on the first page both for google search and yahoo search. if you answer a question that has your keywords in it and you post a link to your site would it be counted as link from yahoo when the spiders crawl it next. isn't it a great way to improve your page rank for free.
what are some of the tings that can go wrong?

yeah. but supposingly you are an expert in the topic and you have your own blog. you answer the question and you end up with something like ... for other important facts refer to some of the sources below .. and you post your url. i mean its tough cut to say how not ethical this is .. and i'm not asking about answers ethics but do the links count. has someone done tests with their page and links from here are they good.

No, it's not a way to improve PageRank, because of adding rel="nofollow" in every link that you post in your answer. These links are worthless for search engines.

Okay
I'm going to have to ask you to refer to the Yahoo terms of service at this point.

The Yahoo! Terms of Service and Yahoo! Answers Community Guidelines can be found at:

http://docs.yahoo.com/info/terms/...
http://uk.docs.yahoo.com/guidelines.html...

It is against Yahoo policy to Advertise in the Yahoo answers. All posts are monitored and flagged by users and moderators and will result in the termination of your account. Yahoo will also have the right to remove your site from the listings permanently as well.

Please refrain from the use of advertisement.
