There are hundreds of them. Some do and some may not. Like any medicine it depends on the dose you take and herbals haven't been tested so nobody knows.
If something has a biological effect which is good, at some dose it is going to have bad effects. That's biology. No exceptions because something is "natural". Lots of natural substances kill.
If something is totally safe, chances are it doesnt have many benefits, either.

All the medicines including some vitamins got side reactions. Medicines should be taken only if necessary. Almost all of the herbal medicines are not scientifically tested. So better not to use them.

The answer is YES. Especially if you have high blood pressure. Some herbs will raise it higher. If you are on blood pressure or anxiety meds, some herbs will have an interaction with them that could be extremely harmful. Check with a pharmacist if you are on prescribed meds and find out if the herbs you are interested in are safe for you. Another way is to find out on the internet. In search type in the name of the med you are taking. When it comes up, choose a link and most of them has another link to check for side effects and interactions.

in its raw form herbal medicine has no side effect( to most ppl, who are not allergic to them), however, if its in capsule, lotion, syrup or processed etc, other things may be added to it, many times there are heavy doses of mercury, lead & what nots added to it, most herbal medicine are 'NOT scienctifically & medically tested & approved' by most country's governing bodies, so unless you know what you're doing used with caution!!

It depends on the herb.
And the word you want is "ill", not "illfull". You're welcome.
