never too early to get back to nature. just be mindful of the location and weather conditions and prepare for your trip accordingly.

Well, a lot of that depends on what part of the US you live. In the southwest, it's too hot to go camping in some areas. In the Upper Midwest, you could go camping if you don't mind freezing your little tush off.

Go camping anytime, but different weather calls for different gear and different eating and drinking habits. Cold weather camping works best for me, once I learned how to dress in layers, how to eat right and to keep hydrated. In cold weather, the view is better in the mountains, there are no bugs, no bears, no snakes and no crowds!!

Check out a website like REI for cold weather tips. Good luck!!

Most campgrounds in the midwest aren't open until May 1. I'm not sure where you are or what the weather is like there, but I would love to be able to go to my camper right now! My family loves to camp!

The answer to your question depends on two things: where are you going camping and how cold is too cold for you.
