seven thirty in the evening here and still very hot. I have the probloem sleeping some times and used to fret about it. Now I just turn on the short wave radio and listen to programs from many different places around the planet So i don't get much sleep but I did learn a thing or two. I will most likely sleep the next night so no problem.

Since I stoped thinking about not sleeping I seldom have the problem. I do listen to the radio for about two hours every night and go to sleep while it is on.

Don't worry. It is normal. Get out from bed, drink a big cup of water, then take the morning news paper, start reading everything in it from line 1 without leaving a single letter in between.

I think that you shuld see your doctor. He may prescribe sleeping pills or you can see if there are any over the counter sleeping pills. You may be an insamniac. Or you can be thinking about too may things before you try and go to sleep or when you are in bed. If that is the case, try calming down before you go to bed, try yoga or herbal tea. Also try and clear your head about any troubles that you may be thinking about.

Try some Melatonin. It is a bit more natural than sleeping pills.

Although Tylenol is for pain, I sometimes take two before bedtime. They seem to relax me enough that I can sleep and sleep better--a deeper sleep. Also, Benadryl is sometimes used for sleep. (I have seen it used on geriatric patients for sleep)

do you have paracetamol in america? ooh or asprin that might help. doctors say no to this, but whisky, and hot milk might do the trick. getting drunk helps sometimes too, but i wouldnt recommend it at 6 in the morning.

Whatever you do, don't go driving your car. That's sure to put you to sleep, with potentially disastrous consequences.
