I can't seem to get the right answer for this problem, even if i was trying like a billion times already *sigh*

This is the problem:

The number pattern below is a Fibonacci sequence and was developed by an Italian Mathematician. See if you can complete the next FIVE numbers in the sequence.

1, 1 , 2 , 3, 5 , 8 ,

and could you please explain how this pattern works and how you did it!!

The next number in the Fibonacci sequence is obtained by adding the previous two numbers in the sequence.

Therefore, 1 + 1 =2, 1+2 =3, 2+3 =5, etc
The next five numbers you request are:
8+5 = 13
13+8 = 21
21+13 = 34
34+21 = 55
55+34 = 89

Fibonacci numbers are found by adding together the last two values in the sequence.

When n=0 Fibonacci's number (F)=0
When n=1 F=1
After this just add the last two terms together to get the next term.

So the first 12 terms are 0, 1, 1, 2, 3, 5, 8, 13, 21, 34, 55, 89

The first 25 Fibonacci sequence is listed as follows: 0, 1, 1, 2, 3, 5, 8, 13, 21, 34, 55, 89, 144, 233, 377, 610, 987, 1597, 2584, 4181, 6765, 10946, 17711, 28657, 46368... How this work is simply by adding the sum of the previous two numbers on the list... 1 + 1 = 2, 1 + 2 = 3, 2 + 3 = 5... etc.

The Fibonacci sequence adds the two numbers before together to make the next one.

1+1=2
1+2=3
and so on

so the next five are:
1. 5+8=13
2. 8+13=21
3.13+21=34
4. 21+34=55
5.34+55=89

Why did you not google "fibonnaci's sequence"???? You get tons and tons of answers. For the sequence, you just add the last term with the second-to last term.
So:
1
1+0 = 1
1+1 = 2
2+ 3 = 5
3 + 5 = 8
5 + 8 = 13
8 + 13 = 21
13 + 21 = 34
21 + 34 = 55
34 + 55 = 89

This sequence will be as

1,1,2,3,5,8,13,21,34,55,98,153

In this sequence first number is 1

Any number after the first one can be obtained by adding two numbers coming just before it

First number = 1
Second number = 0 + first number = 0+1=1
Third = First number + Second number = 1+1=2
Fourth = Second + Third = 1 + 2 = 3
Fifth = Third + fourth = 2 + 3 = 5
Sixth = Fourth + Fifth = 3 + 5 = 8

and so on

This is how the pattern works:

1,1,2,3,5,8....

See that the first two numbers (1 and 1) ad up to 2, which is the next number. The previous two numbers add up to the next number.
1
1+1=2
2+1=3
2+3=5
3+5=8
8+5=13
etc..

You keep adding the last two numbers together to get the next number.
1+1 = 2
1+2 =3 etc............

next number is 5 +8 = 13 etc

you do the rest

i think its adding the first two number like 1+1=2, 1+2=3, 3+2=5, n 5+3=8 nw do u understand

just add the 5 and 8 then next add the 13 and the 8 and keep adding the last two and you will get all the numbers you need
