Unfortunately, terrorism has been used by many different groups in many different countries.

It is not unique to Muslims.

On April 19, 1995 Timothy McVeigh (a non-Muslim, White American) blew up a federal building in Oklahoma City.

Also, Doug Williams, a White employee at a Lockheed aircraft plant in Meridian, Miss., taunted and made death threats against black co-workers as early as a year and half before he went on a shooting spree in July 2003 that left six dead and eight wounded. After killing his last victim, Williams shot and killed himself on the plant floor.

There are many other examples of terrorist acts committed by people other than extremist Muslims.

Sadly, terrorism is a human trait not relegated to one group or the other.

i just wanna say that islam is not about terrorism, its just that just like any ther religion everyone is different and so are their beliefs. islam teaches muslims peace, but there are some muslims out there may be they are not even muslims and are using the name of islam and bringing the name of muslims to shame so one cannot blame the true muslims.

In 1996 our city centre became in part destroyed by making use of Christian terrorists. certainly, being British very almost my entire journey of terrorism has been Christian - Manchester has been bombed by making use of Christian terrorists on a minimum of 5 different occassions in my lifetime.
