Just make sure you're drinking plenty. If you can drink something like Horlicks, which is a food in itself, do.

You must drink plenty of fluids, you can take normal paracetamol it will not affect the baby. If your constantly feeling sick or being sick you really must see your mid wife. Also be careful that it doesn't come with a chesty cold. I ended up with bronchial pneumonia when 6 months pregnant had to stay in hospital for 5 days. Try eating some toast with little bit of butter or digestive biscuits with a nice cup of tea. Flu is horrible when pregnant but baby will be fine, chin up

Don't feel guilty. You can't help that you have the flu. Make sure you get plenty of fluids, especially water. Try to find something that you can keep down that has some nutrients in it. Try eating crackers and dry toast. Anything that you can keep down will help both you and your baby. But make sure you're getting enough fluids!! Get to feeling better soon.

Its normal to feel that way...your on your own and your bringing a little baby into the world. When you have him/her all those feeling will go away and you'll just be like you'll never want to let them go. Thats what parenthood is about...doing everything on your own and becoming more responsible. ITs a big step! Just relax it will all to reality when the day comes. I'm a mother of 2 and I had the same feeling but its so unbelievable. Congrats and remember they grow up fast so treasure every moment with them!

don't worry too much . It's only been a few days. Try to take you prenatal vitamins and drink plenty of juices and chicken broth. When you feel up to it then eat.My sister had bad morning sickness and could only drink beef broth and crackers for almost a month and her baby was fine.So don't stress. Eat what you can and take your vitamin and your baby should be fine.

First of all, I feel for you.... I went through this when I was 5 weeks pregnant. I thought I was dying. I called NHS 24 as I was worried that I was doing my child harm but was quickly assured that the baby would find nutrients elsewhere. She actually likened it to a parasite.LOL, they feed off everything else in your body and survives just fine. Speak with your doc to reasure yourself though.

Keep your fluids up. Your baby will be fine though. He will just take what he needs from you, so you will be the one getting deficient. This will make recovery more difficult, so try to eat something, even if it's just a few mouthfuls.

Have you seen your doctor? Continue to take your vitamins. Don't feel guilty. It's not like you are doing it on purpose. Relax everything will be fine.
