Sold an item. Price is £50.00. It was meant to be cash on collection. Now they can't collect but are suggesting to pay through Paypal and will collect at a later date.
I am selling the item for a friend so don't want to lose any of the money of the sale through charges.
How much will the charges be on a £50.00 transaction?

hmm, haven't sold for ages. I have a verified personal account and they used to charge on monies coming in from sales. Like i say, it's been over a year since i sold anything. Had a look on their help files but can't seem to find anything.

There will be a charge, and I am not sure how much Paypal are quite dear now and that's why i never sell using it, I would give them the choice of either sending you a cheque/postal order, or adding at least 10% for the charge, not sure if that's enough, but yo could add more and tell them you will refund any amount above the charge, you can't be fairer than that

this is not allowed IF the supplier is interior the rustic. international countries ARE authorized to try this. not lots you're able to do if the supplier is exterior the rustic. you are able to checklist all you want, yet you will not get your merchandise. in case you have already bought the item, and the supplier sprung this on you, then confident, report a criticism. If this is published in an public sale, the two ingredient that quantity into your bid, or basically pass on it. i for my area do not see different distinction between charging a % to apply Paypal and charging 4.50 to mail a cd while it expenditures approximately 86c.
