you probably couldnt find it because it isnt a word that is very often used so when the dictionaries you looked in were abridged it was left out. if you go to the library at your school and look in the unabridged dictionary they have you should be able to find it google search engines are also unabridged as you dont have to worry about a computer program weighing too much like you do a book

It is certainly in Collins English Dictionary. You may be looking in small, pocket dictionaries which have a very limited number of words because of limited space. Get a large, desk dictionary!
