When I refer a true American, I mean do you support the USA or do you just complain about everything the country does in the world?

While it is true that the USA is not a perfect country, no country or person is, do you see the US as a generous and sympathetic country to people who need help?

Do you love the USA? If not, would you rather live in a another country and under a different government?

Are you thankful that the USA has a capable Armed Forces to protect it from foreign and domestic enemies?

Why do so many people in the USA hate their own country?

There is more than one question here but I am trying to find out why so many people living in the first and most progressive democratic society in the world would resent it so much or what about it do they resent? Most people around the world would pay anything they could just to live there? And alot of the people who live there seem to hate it, why?

No. I'm an Aussie and I wouldn't pay anything to live in the USA. I like it here!

You've been brainwashed. Just because one opposes war does not make them un-American. You have to stop thinking that way. My only problem with war is the fact that it never stops. 5 die today, more tommorrow, war with Iran is next, Vietnam before. I will admit that I can not accurately discuss whether these wars are justified since I am not into politics and I do not trust a media controlled by the special interest. People need to learn to disagree without taking things personally. And God never made borders or nations, people do.

I do not consider myself to be even slightly American. Having said that it is the responsibility of people in any democracy to question whether the authority they have elected is acting in their best interest. Asking those questions in an atmosphere where such debate is discouraged is a sign of a true patriot

There is no such thing as a true nationality, its simply where your born (not really nationality because that implies citizenship, but you know what im saying). Its the idea of a true nationality that starts racism
