DIMAPUR in India and DIMAPORO in Philippines.

Only first 4 (four) letters DIMA are similar and apart from this there is no other connection between the two.

Unlikely. India and Philippine inhabitants far from having blood relations although names have similar sound. In neighboring country like Sabah, Malayasia is much possible because Mindanao inhabitants originated thereat.
