Continental US is all states except Hawaii.
Also referred to as CONUS but the military but the military term does not include Alaska. I don't know the exact reason why Alaska is not included but Hawaii is definitely ruled out because it is not on the SAME continent as the rest of the states.
Here is from an online dictionary.

Contiguous United States
The 48 adjoining states and the District of Columbia.

Continental United States
The 48 adjoining states, Alaska and District of Columbia.

All of them except Alaska and Hawaii.

They're sometimes also referred to as the "lower 48 states".
