Youll know it when you meet them
If they make you feel different, inspire you, captivate you, if you feel drawn to the person, if you feel the person is or if you naturally follow his or her wishes, than that is charisma.
You can say its a social characteristic of a human that is a sort of instinctive hypnotism which he or her can use on you just based on thier personality alone. It could be used purposefully to get what they want. Or it maybe apart of thier character and is natural behavior that seems to naturally attract other people.
Its not good or bad, its the way you use it, the way your affected by it. in my opnion it can be effective form of psychcology to get what you want. Some people take pleasure in charming others period and makes them selves feel good.

You know when a person has charisma if you or other people are attracted to them. I don't mean in a romantic way, necessarily. It's just that people with charisma always have the ability to "draw" others in. People genuinely like to be around them. They just have that "special something" that makes you smile or makes you pay attention, or makes you just plain want to be near them. This is how you can tell if someone has charisma. Do you have it? Unfortunately, I don't.

You can feel it! The most charismatic person I can think of is Steve Irwin, the Wildlife Warrior. Unfortunaetly he is gone and
charisma is a rare and extremely important trait in life.
When I picture someone with charisma, I see a person standing tall with confidence, loud in a way that gets others'attention, enthusiastic, and comforting to those in need. Also happy and likable. A 'getter done' kind of person.
The dictionary def: 'Inspriring quality of leadership'. What an interesting question. Makes me wander why you asked it. have a good day!

A person with charisma is almost impossible to miss. They have amazing charm that draws people to them like a magnet. With no apparent effort they are able to have influence over others even to the point of causing great excitement and enthusiasm. Even in the midst of all this energy the person with charisma remains calm, confident, and happy. I think when person has charisma, there is no question about it. You will just know because of their obvious personal appeal.

Charisma is not necessarley a good word. It can be both good and bad. Jim Jones who had about 1,000 followers commit suicide had charisma. It is the ability to inspire people but can be used in bad ways as well as good. Hitler also had charisma.

A charismatic person has presence and seems to fill a room when they walk in. Charisma is a big personality, the ability to relate and draw in many people with their charm. There are good and bad charismatic people. It depends on how they choose to use it.

they can charm the birds out of the trees
unfortunately people with charisma tend to be very superficial ; while believing that they are nice people; and only like others who let them have their own way.

I would assume that if everyone around that person seems drawn to him. Everyone hangs on to every word. Everyone likes him.
