I pay all of my bills at the post office and save postoffice stamps towards the next bills. I keep up with my payments. I am charged more because i do this. Unfair and i reckon it is just another way for them to make more profits at the cost of customers. Why do we get punished for paying our bills. Is it not so that you should only pay for what you owe? I did as not asked nor was i a part in their descision making, when they decided to close their offices and shops to the public and do everything online and per telephone. i think that we have been bullied into making choices that are there only for their benefit, not as they would say to make it easier for us, or cheaper. To top it all off, the call center is abroad, They have cut their costs by moving call centers abroad, Direct Debit and Online payments. All of which benefit is to their benefit, not ours!

Collecting money due by direct debit or online is cheaper by far for the company. it may be only a pound or two but when you multiply that by the volume they handle (take BT for example) it runs into hundreds of thousands, and that's just for admin. Why do you not save the money that you spend on stamps at the PO into a special account and pay by DD from that account? you will save money and depending on the account even earn interest!

welcome to the world. manipulation is much much worse than we could ever imagine. it's a tough world to live in, you have to find a way to make your peace with it without becoming bitter, and it's hard.
