I bought it on eBay and it seems to be a European one. Just checking really, my girlfriend also wants to know if the power is reliable over there, will she be able to use straighteners?

if the metel pins are round then yes you can use it the voltage is 240 V the same as here but if the pins are square then you wont be able to use it

It will work if it is the round pins for Europe.

yes the ad apter will be OK .but the straighteners will take longer to warm up,because voltage is lower

yes it will be fine, it will work just the same on all electric things
