Bush knows that Republicans are idiots for supporting him. He just uses them to stay in power, while he screws them ( except for the rich Republicans ) and the rest of America. How many Republicans realize this ? If you know it, and you are a Republican that continues to support Bush, why are you doing that ?
You should be better than that. Stand up to George Bush and let him know you won't let him abuse your loyalty. Protest against him. Show him that you put loyalty to your country ahead of party loyalty.
Being a Democrat, I would not put up with this from a president that was a Democrat. That goes for Congress too. If they don't stop this war, I will no longer be a Democrat. Because I'm an American first. Do you Republicans understand what I'm trying to tell you ?

Amer IC, I said "use" once, and then to emphasize the point I said "abuse". Of course every President uses their constituents. This President abuses it like no other.

Bush is the Judas Goat with the bell around his neck that leads the herd of sheep to slaughter; they go into the slaughtering pen while he stays out. He uses the really dumb, ignorant toothless yokels and the equally dumb and ignorant beer-bellied redneck hicks to get elected and to shout down his opponents while he gives the super rich and powerful yet another tax break (the same ones that own the companies that are outsourcing American jobs overseas, while getting tax breaks and tax incentives) and he gives his cronies lucrative contracts that permits them to profiteer (and not one solitary government official dares question the ridiculous charges being paid to this companies... $45 for a 6-pack of Pepsi for our troops in Afghanistan and Iraq). He's been doing this since he came into office... when he ignored and refused to listen to Slick Willy's cabinet that tried to warn him about the terrorist threats here in America... yeah, he "forgot" about this but records make him out a liar again... like with Katrina when he said he was not informed but videos and still photos proved him wrong as he said he never met with Brown, the horse show director he hired to head FEMA). He lies and deceives them but it takes little effort to fool those that don't want to see the truth!

I don't feel disrespected in the slightest, except from people like you. You want to talk to me like I'm an idiot because you are still pissed that GW got elected TWICE, and your party isn't looking real good for the next round.
Pull your head out because there is a lot more to this picture than meets the eyes. Those of us that are "true believers" see the big picture here of WHY we are doing what we are doing. That doesn't mean that we agree with everything that our President has done. I personally could make quite a list of mistakes in my opinion, but that doesn't mean that I don't still support the overall mission.
My loyalty has nothing to do with the Republican Party, and EVERYTHING to do with my country and my family. I feel better with President Bush at the helm than I would have felt with either of the clowns that opposed him.
As for GWB using the Republicans? I had to laugh at you for that one. Turn back the clock smarty pants, and REALLY look at history. ALL politicians use their constituents, and then make bad decisions. If you were politically savvy, you would know this and be able to admit it. As it is, you are just a pathetic hypocrite who has no real idea what you are talking about.

And how is the democratic party any better??? At least President Bush is leading. A dem will not make a decision without checking the polls and studying a problem until it goes away.

My feeling is that Bush disrespects people who are not of his class AND his party. He is a small man who tries to have a large vision, but does not really understand anything other than the mechanics of how to win an election and keep his fundie supporters on a string.
Bush's image makers know how to manipulate and fool his base voters, and have done an excellent job of demonizing the Democrats. Many middle class Republican voters now realize Bush is not acting in their best interests, but they believe the Democrats would hurt the middle class even more by creating a "socialist" state.

Nah, they just see that R behind his name and figure it's all good.
Now if they were treated exactly the same way by a Democrat there would be quite the uproar.
(I'm a conservative and I vote for the person, not the party--and I never voted for Bush.)

You know what is funny almost every Republican response now has in it "I know he's made a few mistakes". I think that they know what has been done is wrong but its like a sporting event root for your team no matter what.
