Shouldnt they look at their own behaviour before accusing others?? Why is it that women are allowed to get away with it being labeled a "Strong" women with her own principles while men are perpetually the big bullies??
Isnt that being allowed to be bigoted and getting away with it??
Dont women realise that they already hold much of the power over men already??

Maybe Chauvinist is the wrong term... What i meant to say is that women are allowed to get away with being...... arrogant while men who exhibit the same behaviour are condemned immediately by both men and women.
Isnt that unfair??

I've found the opposite is true. There is a double standard that if a woman is assertive and speaks her mind as any man would do, instead of deferring to any male presence, she is labelled "b!tch" or "feminist" (and this last is said as though it is an insult).

It's not about who has power. That just a childish and petty game. It's simply about equality. I can't imagine why anyone would want to deny women this.

If what you describe in your details has actually occurred, then yes, it is unfair.

But the world is still full of chauvinists and the term is sometimes applied appropriately. Search through Yahoo Answers and you will find plenty of anti-female remarks.

Im a guy, i dont like it either, but let me tell you the truth, and this is the best answer youll get so check it out

There are millions of things just like this which arent fair all over the world, big **** and petty ****. Some people complain, some people deal with it, and some people fight it in any ways they can, politically, personally, strategically, etc.

Bascially the best option to choose unless you are willing to dedicate your life to that cause is to just deal with it. For example, I could turn around and say, why is the sentence for posession of 500 grams of crack 5 years longer than the sentence for possesion of 500 grams of cocaine when they are the same exact drug? Dont try to fight against the system, make it work for you, to your advantage. When you feel like something isnt fair, chances are you are probably right, so just look at it as a challenge. Because without this mentality you could end up like I did, fighting against everything that I felt was wrong, wasnt fair etc.. it only wasted my time. So next time your on the phone with some rude disrepectfull employee, remember dont try and change them or the system, just try to get on with it, you have better things to do than to prove him/her wrong or to try and change them or the system. Use it to your advantage. trust me brother it works

Men have to stand up for their rights.

I lost respect a long time ago for my father as he would do anything to appease our mother.

My mother had AD and when her memory was going my father had a massive stroke and for the last three years was in a nursing home and paralyzed on half of his body and could not talk or communicate.

After my mother seen his condition, she would not bother to visit him in the home and if she was forced to go see him she would ignore him and want to leave after just a minute visit.

My mother lasted several years with AD and lived in a world of her own as she did not know anyone and finally just died all by herself in the nursing home.

The point is that some of these controlling egoistic "strong" women end up all alone and unloved in a silent world of their own making. You could not talk to my mother when she was well and she was always a big bully and what good did all this power do her?

I guess its better than being called a misogynist. Why are women who stand up for themselves as called over ""egotistic""?

Say what you want and if they label you ignore them, say I'm just speaking my mind.

This is a clear case of double standards, and situational judgement on their part.
