I think if you got laid more or often you'd think about it less, but maybe that's not true. It just seems logical if it's something to desire and your not getting it you would be craving it ...wouldn't you?

That is a questions that you already know. Take a look at the web. Look how many men are looking for sex compared to women. There is your first clue.
Second, take a look at society. A woman can get any man she wants, but a man have to work hard to get the girl
We think about sex a lot because we are visual creature by nature. That mean we are attracted to things that are seen by the eye. That is why porn is catered to men mostly.

Yes, women can "get laid" easier than men, only because men are not as picky who they lay with!
Men will think about sex all the time, whether or not they're having it.

no men are more sex minded. a man in the forest would do it to a knot hole in a tree. not saying women don't get aroused.
