or can you get a different supply with more/less power?

You don't have to get the same 145w power supply you can get a larger one. The one thing that you have to make sure of is that it will fit in your case. Increasing your power supply is not a bad thing just make sure that your motherboard can accept it.

You can't still buy 145 WATT power supplies, and no company has ever made a 145 Kilowatt power supply. Just get any power supply that has 200 watts, and will fit inside your case, and you'll be fine, as long as you're trying to use the same components.

a 145kw power supply is like 15 reverse cycle air conditioners of power. But you can get a more powerful power supply as long as it fits in your case it should work

Hell fire! How big is your computer? 145KW would be around the size of a house. Go to your local computer shop and get your self a nice new 400W supply, that will be more than enough for most machines. Tell them if it is a P4 supply which has a seperate square 4 pin connector.

As long as the replacement power supply is 145Kw and has the same connection you should be good. I replaced all my 250Kw power supplies with 450Kw ones.
