in a coma pee/poo? eh? was a debate we had last night. Yes blame the guiness lmao. well do they? x

sbwalsh.. normally you talk a lot of sense.. but what about babies huh? they don't eat solid foods for a few months yet they poo? ha x

They don't eat solid food so no poo but are hooked up to IV drips and a catheter.

Yes they do. I think when you are in a coma you get fed mostly liquid food by a tube so most of what comes out of you is pee. They probably hook you up to a catheter bag or something like that.

I love drunk debates like that - Id love to have been there to hear some of your answers. Most people have said the answer already but yes they do as they have a bag fitted. They are still fed through tubes so need to go to the toilet too!

No, the coma allows them to bottle it all up and store it internally - indefinitely. In fact, that's why people usually wake up from comas, they've run out of storage space for their wastes.

Yes but they have them hooked up to catheters and stuff for the nurses to take care of it since they can't use their muscles themselves to actually go.

Yes of course they do.. but they usually have bags attached to make it easier for the people who are caring for them..

Of course they do, but will have a cathetor to make it easier to clean them, they are tube fed, so what goes in!!!
