Desire.

Talent for it.

An agent to tell you if you really have that talent.

Hire an agent

P.S. (Never accept an agent that CHARGES you money - a REAL agent will take his fee from your jobs - never more than 15 percent)

Pray for the best.

I'm praying for you sis... We need NEW people in Hollywood.

You didn't say how old you are. If you are 16 or older you can voullenteer at a theater company, PBS station, cabel access and learn by doing.

The idea is to learn the business and process.

In theater you'll work with props, be an usher, sell tickets, sell hot dogs at intermission.

Of course you also TRY OUT for every role and every play they do.

That way you learn how to audtion and pass auditions.

They'll eventually give you a bit part.

YOu learn how to work with directors. You learn how to light. You learn stage moves.

Eventually they pay you, not very much, but they pay you.

A friend of mine started out as a voluenteer for PAcifica Radio, became a paid engineer, got to do on air announcements and today he's head of video engeineering at a PBS station makeing decent money and doing what he likes to do.
