Johnny got his Gun, directed by Dalton Trumbo, who also wrote the book the movie is based on.

It's about a young man in World war 1 who is caught in a mortar blast, rendering him sightless, speechless, deaf, mute, without arms and legs, basically a living torso.......and the movie fades out with him begging for someone to kill him, and no one will....

Juuuuust a bit depressing. Not something you'd want to watch before a wedding, y'know?

For those farmiliar with Metallica, the movie is the subject matter for their song "One"........"landmine, has taken my sight, taken my speech, taken my hearing....."

There are three movies:
1. Pay it forward...because it was going on well and softly then suddenly the boy unexpectedly dies at the end.
2. The cider house rules.. because all the people who die are those who have done nothing wrong in their life.
3. Blood diamond.... you watch about 3 or 4 million people die in every scene.
What was the reason for that question again?????

i really don't know. i like depressing movies. but the dumbest movie i've ever seen was either....escape from l.a. or starship troopers. i think starship troopers. yeah. i actually find those depressing because their very creation is a testament to the potential stupidity of the human race. that's depressing.

House of the Dead.
Because that piece of crap got a theatrical release and any one could have made it on a SonySuper8 with a budget of $5000.
Just enough for beer, weed, and the boat rental. The Beer is for the camera man to get all of those great shots, and the weed is to pay the incredible actors.

Turkish fruit, it's a Dutch movie. A girl cheats on her husband then splits (she's a flake) and breaks the guys heart. Then when he is finally over her and forgives her, she dies. I couldn't believe it bummed me out so much.

Running with Scissors...Even though it is a comedy and kinda funny,it offers a perspective on human condtition and how low can people get, makes you feel really sorry for all the characters, and also you get the feeling like "hey,it could be me someday."
