Why do most Americans think that the war in Iraq, is protecting not just america, but the rest of the world?

P.S I am Greek not French,and America has only hurt us, not helped us, EVER!

War is always about money, and my son is fighting over in that war, watching his buddies get blown up right next to him..I think when it comes to a war, everyone should have a little sympathy and heart and remember the young men and women fighting in it.

So you're saying that when America joined WW2 and sent thousands of troops to their death fighting the Nazis that we didn't help Greece? Do Europeans not realize that Germany had pretty much taken over most of Europe and that it was the combined effort of the Allied Powers (including the US) that pushed them back? Yeah, right. Never helped Greece.

Anyway the war in Iraq served one purpose that protected the world and that was removing a cruel dictator who given enough time and money would have made another move like Kuwait. I am in no way justifing this war, and in fact I think that removing Hussein was the only good thing to come from this war and that the bad far out weighs the good.
