I just bought one of the new second generation shuffles and as i try to charge it blinks orange normal or not?

It blinks orange and it also says it doesnt have music??? So now i have to download itunes : / but i still dont think its charging right at all : /

no that is not normal! call apple or contact apple and ask about this! www.apple.com there should be a contact or tech support on there!
