I know this has been asked before but i just thought it might generate some interesting reading. My number one phobia is a fear of empty swimming pools.

Remember a Phobia is an intense irrational fear not just something you dont really like all that much..

Acrophobia ( Fear of Heights) and Mild Claustropobia ( Fear of Tightspaces). This does though, give Hollywood Tower in DW/Universal Studios FL, a vote for best ride, As I was Terrified thinking about it, than more so When I rode it. Especially with 15 other people in there with me. Scary @ss Sh!t.

Worms, and anything wormlike, such as: caterpillars, centipedes, millipedes, snakes, etc. I've even been afraid of leather belts and electric cords that were positioned in such a way that they looked like snakes or long worms. Ah yes, eels are another animal I can't look at, same with lampreys.

After the rain when the worms come onto the sidewalk, I'm a nervous wreck! I hyperventilate, so frightened that I've even walked in the street to avoid them! I swear, at times I've been so spooked, that even my fingers creeped me out.

i have arachnaphobia... i don't just freak out at spiders, i start hyperventilating or i freeze and i can't move for the life of me, and if the spider comes closer when i'm froze, i start panicing and then hyperventilating or i pass out. I have asthma too so if i start hyperventilating i often end up in the hospital those stupid spiders. Even tiny tiny baby ones scare the s*it out of me!! ♥

i'm afraid of empty swimming pools too- i think because of movies though. (:

being in an airplane... yikes. I know plane crashes are rare, but the fact that they are always reported in the news when one happens makes them seem more common than they really are, and that's enough to scare us aerophobes.

P.S. Do you know what you have left when you drink 2 cans of beer from a 6-pack? "Phobia"! :D

High places. Actually it's more like edges of high places, being able to see how far up I am.
I helped frame my own house. It was extremely difficult for me to walk on floor joists, but put 3/4" plywood on them and I have no trouble at all. I can also walk the edge of boards on the ground, put me up high and I can't balance the same way.

I don't know what it is but SNAKES! I live in a wooded area on a lake. There are snakes here. I am so scared when I see them. What's irrational is that I want to live here forever.
