honey, 10 dollars an hour job with that much pain, if you think you can find better and can use some time off with no regrets, then definitely go for it. but it's harder to find good paying jobs that don't overwork souls, so make sure you have a back up plan

That depends, how easy is it for you to find another (better) job that pays just as much, or more, and has the flexible hours you need?
If the answer is yes you could find it easily, then tell management you are completely fed up and if nothing is done you are giving your notice to leave. Sometimes it takes a little shock for management to do anything that sounds like work.

is the $10 an hour worth the bullshit? If you're the only one doing the work on those 3 nights.... maybe take a long break occasionally?
Seriously though, it depends on what your priorities are. If you have a family depending on your income, you may have to suck it up until you find a more employee-friendly situation. If you're the only one depending on you... go ahead and quit... just hope there's another job in the near future

Sounds like you work on a help desk or in a call center?
If this has only been going on three days, the management may have rostering constraints to work to or other reasons for not having worked out the issues.
I manage a call center myself and its not always the easiest thing to be able to sort these things out. Wait til your next roster is out and see if it helps.
Ask yourself this question. Do you like your job (or at least, did you like it before all this started going on?) If the answer is yes, stay.

i think they value you. they believe that you can handle the load. so play on that. find a new job. turn in your 2 weeks notice and inform the old job that the new job is giving you what you want. more help. if they really value you they will offer to find a solution that will keep you around. i have use this numerous time to get promotions and raises and even get help at a job.

your boss hasnt stepped up to the plate as far as your needs are concerned because the needs of his business are being met---by you, and you alone. Talk to him again, this time expressing your intentions of looking for another job, once he looses his safety net of knowing you will always be there, he may just reconsider, and appreciate what he has, Good luck!!!!

The real question is: Can you afford to quit? I would definitely start looking for another job if you are unhappy.
