Hi Katie, well I was in bed sleeping when it all happened. My wife was up all night, she eventually woke me up at 5.30am and said lets go, we having a baby, I was in shock, I quickly got up and we were off.

This is something I want to know too, My wife is about 6 months along. I just heard the other day that 75% or mor of women never have their water break on its own. When they go into labor and get to the hospital, the Med staff breaks it.

Congras Katie :)

My gf's sister juz had a baby and it was all smooth and steady.
It will be ideal to have someone by your side 24/7 about 2 weeks before the baby is supposed to be due for delivery.

:) i hadn't had such an experience yet.

but i think it will be a SUPER scary and happy session when it comes. I'm in Brisbane, Australia too. nice to meet u.

ALL THE BEST!
Congras again!

Actually my daughters were born by c-section so I didn't have this to deal with. My first daughter was very premature due pregnancy induced hypertension causing her to be taken early.
Who'd have thought she would grow from a wee tiny baby to such a poised, intelligent young lady!

CONGRATS!!! I was with my mom when i went into labor (my water was broken by the doc) and she drove me to the hospital and i met up with my bf at the hospital and he was really excited and pushed me up into labor and delivery and was right there by my side the whole time. In the delivery room he was really excited our baby was finally coming, and he kept talking about it. He was surprisingly calm!! ♥

I just read your hubbys answer. i think he is ready and waiting.
Congratulations you guys. My water broke at home and my partner asked me if he had enough time for some dinner.
He was so relaxed and calm. It was like he had done this before but it was his first.
