But if you must here is an easy way. The tag is "bgsound" (you should be able to do this with any .mp3, .wav., or .mid, etc. music file. Also, remember the smaller the size the faster the load time):

hidden=true><BGSOUND src="file.mp3">

You may need to put it in its own frame (which you can code to be "unseen") so that way it will not change when the rest of the site does.

however background music irritiates visitors
