I hate lies & I dont lie. If there is something I dont want to tell, I will keep my mouth shut.
Even for small things, I don't tell a lie. Somehow, I just want people close to me feel that whatever I say I mean & the same I expect from them. With people who are important to us, we have to be this comfortable. And for those who are not, why give them importance by telling a lie & changing & challenging our concepts .
+ If I'll lie once, I'll have to lie 10 more times to support it.
Not just that it requires a very good memory. Sadly, I don't have it.......lolz U dont have to remember facts. They are registered in mind naturally.

My answer is similar to ♥'s. I do tell little white lies. For example: I woke up late for work n was gonna be a couple of minutes late so I called the boss to tell him, and rather than getting much grief from saying I overslept, I just said that I was having car trouble. Little things like that.
but for bigger things, things about myself, abt who I am, I never lie. I'm truly an open book. No false appearances. I never misguide others into thinking I'm something I'm not.

lie for selfbenefit is dangerous so i dont tell a lie and to speak lie for justice which is true so that other can be saved so i tell a lie rarely.
