A 5 year old is too young to know what racism means.....but old enough to pick up on racist hatred that it may be exposed to. If his / her parents or other influencers are racist and have spoken against a community in front of the child, s/he will believe that such comments / feelings / attitudes are 'right' and will go on to continue that.

Can't blame the child at all, its the elders in its environment that are at fault.

i've got heard it rather is stable for babies to have pets because it introduces them to the belief of accepting dying as part of existence. So even nevertheless her heart will wreck now, interior the long-term it mightn't be one among these undesirable factor. i does no longer purchase a substitute hamster with out her understanding ... youngsters can constantly tell, one testicle is a massive provide-away sign inspite of the incontrovertible fact that it rather is little behaviour types that she could be conscious if she's been twiddling with Chester plenty. i might clarify to her that one and all creatures die and bypass to Heaven and especially cases we do exactly no longer understand why - i think of in this occasion she does not might desire to nicely known precisely how - and doubtless have somewhat memorial provider ... it rather is what we did as quickly as we've been youngsters. Then ask her if she'd want to get a clean one. whilst first pets die it rather is annoying yet in a pair of weeks she'll be smiling lower back.

A 5 year old only responds to what they are taught. They aren't old enough to be'racist' but they will be if left in that environment that they are in now. When they get old enough to understand all our differences, they may choose to do better.
