If you like horror books go with Stephen King:
Carrie, Salems Lot, IT, The Dark Half,
also read John Saul,
For fiction read James Patterson. His books are great. There is one he wrote Cradle and All that has some horror elements in it. It is really good. I read it in 3 hours.
Also try Tess Gerritson: Life Support , Harvest, The Apprentance and The Surgeon.
If you like horror and crime try Thomas Harris and Boris Starling.
If you are looking for some light fiction try Janet Evanovich. I could go on and on but these are a few of my favorites.

1) 'The Bible Code' by Michael Drosnin
2) All Agatha Christie books, especially those with Hercule Poirot as the protagonist
3) 'A Corner of the Universe' by Ann M. Martin
4) All 'Harry Potter' books
That's all I can think of at the moment. Enjoy reading!

Try "Michelle" by Eva Gibson. It is a fantastic fictional story with a plot that isn't overly simple.
