I agree it is such a very very sad story.
Sally Clark died yesterday and she was 42. Her family said that she never recovered from the appalling miscarriage of justice she suffered. I remember when she was released she said 'We are not victorious, there are no winners here' She was just glad that her nightmare had come to an end. She was a very intelligent but gentle woman and now their surviving child has lost two brothers and a mother.
This lady suffered so much. She fell victim to Professor Meadow's Law. He stated 'One sudden infant death is a tragedy, two is suspicious and three is murder, unless proved otherwise. Sally lost two sons in sudden infant death syndrome. She was proved totally innocent. He was found guilty of professional misconduct in 2005 but later appealed and was successful.
I wish her peace at last. God bless her.

Such a shame! Not only did they have the two sons she was accused of killing but they also have another child. British justice is a shambles. Those that drive without a licence get a driving ban - how can you ban someone who shouldn't be on the roads anyway????
The british justice system needs to change!

I always believed she was innocent. Its unimaginable the grief she must have had and at the same time being accused and then convicted of such a terrible crime.
I cannot understand how she was convicted on a guy saying that it was a 1 in 74 million chance of it happening twice. We don't understand sudden infant death.
Being convicted on a mathematical probability is criminal itself.Maybe she did commit suicide or perhaps sudden death came to her as well. Tragic.

sally clark had been put thro hell by the judicial system, for any mum to loose her kids is a tragedy ,then to be wrongly accused of murdering them by a now discredited government scientist and be put in prison as a child killer for 3 yrs just beggars belief..why isnt the lying boffin doing time for perjury,or fabrication of evidence.im afraid its too late for sally now,but i reckon anybody falsly imprisoned should get at least £1 million a year.thank god the death penalty is no more

Ask the police they have the right formula, its no longer the information that proves you're accountable that incorrect, that's the information they learn about and cover that proves your chance free.

I felt gutted for that women beyond belief. If they had deliberately tried to torture her to death, they couldn't have done a better job. The arrogance of officialdom. I hope they all have extremely bad consciences over their part in this tragedy.
