astringent and toner?

what is the difference between astringent and toner?
which should be applied before makeup?
which one can be applied everyday?
suggset some good brands.

astringent basically does everything a toner does but it controls sebum secretion thus prevents acne....
in other words, astringents are for oily/acne prone skins.
both can be applied everyday but you have to take note astringents are more drying coz it's for oily skins. you should apply them before make up....
and for your powder foundation to not look so thick and heavy, you can wet a piece of facial cotton with toner/astringent and pat them onto your face lightly.

Seabreeze makes 2 types of astringent. 1 type is blue for sensitive skin and the other type is yellow for oilily skin. If you have combo. skin I recommend using the blue formula. For toner, make sure you get one that says its formulated for sensitive skins. Seabreeze you should apply 3x a day. Morning, afternoon, and night. Toner gets applied after cleansing in the morning and night. Make up goes on before astringent and toner.

toner is for tightening pores and astringent for to remove excess oil from skin. if your skin is normal than you can use toner before make up but if it is oily than it is better to use astringent before make up. you can use lakme brand it's good.
