men and womenhave very little self esteem and self respect these days.
They need to have constant attention from outsiders to stroke their ego. They just dont have enough to do in their lives to keep them focused.
They have no real investment into their spouse and family apparently since they like to "play with fire" as well and when things dont go well for them- if it gets out of hand, they cry the blues and wonder how it got to that point. Go ahead and play the flirting game if you wish, but know that others around you who know you are married(and often w kids) think you look lame and foolish. Men and womn who have chosen to be married-grow up and stick to your responsibilities or get out of the marriage and allow the spouse to move on to someone w/real substance.
The average normal person knows full well what is being"friendly" and what is flirting . Married persons took the vow and have a clear understanding that interactions around the opposite sex need to be measured and clearly respectful and dignified.

I think married men like to flirt with girls to test the waters and make sure that they are still desirable to the public, that way if what they have doesnt work out, they know they are "still in the game" to go fishing in the sea. I think it is more a subconcious thing though. Women do it too!

Oh, married men definitely would rather flirt with married women! It's like wearing 2 condoms...double protection from responsibility.

most men either like to flirt with an attractive woman or they are just friendly...many times that is confused with flirting....it doesn't matter if the woman is single or divorced...generally it's not about that..it is just that they find the person attractive and they are not dead....

You pretty much answered your own question. I would actually say that a single man does not lead on a single girl, because sex or whatever is almost always the choice of the female.
