My personal favorite was when Homer wrote a restaurant review for the Springfield Shopper. At first, he gave great reviews and a scene showed everyone in Springfield getting fatter, until another columnist gave him the idea to write bad ones. An Italian chef complained of a bad review and said he had a dead horses head put on Homers bed, like in the Godfather. Homer merely ate it and gave IT a bad review. All the restaurant owners conspired to do away with him. That would be difficult because, as one restaurant owner said, "I've seen this Homer eat a bowl of change".

Cannot possibly answer! They are all great, but maybe the one where Homer becomes sanitation guy for Springfield or where Homer has to go back to college.

the one where homer nearly died because of an exploding beer can as an April fools joke or stampy the elephant won by Bart in a radio competition

I forget the title but it was when Homer bought a hammock which turned out to be magic. Every time he lay in his hammock...he kept on being duplicated[cloned]
