by stand by i guess you don't mean hibernate
i once left my hp omnibook in stand by for a week (not on mains power) with the wifi card plugged in and it killed the li-on battery (if you totally drain them they sulk!!!)
24 hours is ok though
if on mains then there is no practical time limit

If it's plugged in, it will just be waiting in power save mode. It will be back up in a second. No harm occurs.
I've done this with multiple laptops for years without problem.
On =ly issue is if there aren't plugged in. If they are on battery, check your power settings to ensure a power off, or hibernate, if the batteries go low.
