A pumice stone and moisterizer is god for getting softer feet.
You don't do this is the bath or shower, but I find that doing this once a fortnight is a great way of keeping your feet soft:
♥ at night, put moisterizer all over your feet
♥ put socks on
♥ go to bed and they'll be lovely and soft in the morning
(it doesn't take very much time at all)

I learned this from a good friend of mine who is a beauty therapist: Have your shower THEN use a dry pedi padl (like sandpaper mounted on plastic specifically for scrubbing feet) after you have towel dried your feet. You will notice white bits of skin coming off. You can moisten the paddle a little if your feet dry out quickly.
Use pure aloe vera gel over your feet. It should absorb quickly and it will not be greasy.
Before bed, use aloe vera again and wait till absorbed then rub pure shea butter (a little goes a LONG way) into the driest part of your feet (usually heels and balls of feet).
This takes about a minute each time, and as your feet become softer, even less time.
In two weeks, you will have feet like a baby's bottom.

Use a foot rasp whilst you are in the shower as this will remove any hard skin. You should also use a foot cream after you wash your feet to keep the skin smooth and supple
You can also get foot scrubs which will exfoliate the skin and remove dead skin cells

A pumice stone when you are in the shower. I've just started using Avons shea butter, hand and foot cream and it really does work, better than anything else I've ever tried.
