The fraction is five thirds
If you multiply "five thirds" by 3 (denominator) you will get the whole number 5 (numerator)

Or Divide 5 by 3
This gives 1 r 2 (1.666666667)

You can also change the improper fraction to:
5/3 = 1(2/3)

as 3 goes into 5 once remainder 2/3 (two thirds) etc..
