I would choose Hell. If you are indeed in charge then you set it up the way you like. Run things the way you think they ought to be run.
"Serve in Heaven" is the other choice. An ETERNITY of servitude? No thanks.

I would much prefer to serve in Heaven! In Heaven I know I will be surrounded by people who I love, and who love me. I have also personally found I am much happier the more I serve others.
I always thought I would have to give up too much to serve God, but I have found I no longer want the things I had to "give up" and have found true friends who are always willing to help me, as I am willing to help them.
Knowing I enjoy the path to Heaven much more than I previously enjoyed the path to hell, I am certain I will enjoy serving there much more than I could ever enjoy reigning in hell, or anywhere else.

Define Hell and Heaven for me please? Is hell and heaven the same classic place above and beneth? In such...its all speculation as to its mere existance, right?
If you believe in God, then you would never yearn to be in Hell.
If on the other hand, you believe Hell and Heaven are person states of mind, lived in this very life, here on earth...I personally found find it easier to live a simple true life than liveing a live full of luxury but little soul, reflection and deeds...
Your question should much rather ask the desire for power in humans, thats were the ambition to be better, do more and be "known & respected" comes from. What is power? Its a mere satisfaction, something that sooths our anxiety of feling less worth. Once you learn to be happy with yourself, you'll be much more at peace and what you do for a "living" will have much less consequence

This question has been asked a lot!
How do you know that hell as a realm exists?
How do you know that people in general go to heaven?
What does it mean to serve?
What religion? What scripture? Read Matt 5:5, 5:3.
A lot of people are not going anywhere near heaven?
You need to study what these things are!

And, just who would be the "genius" that would have the experience or knowledge base on which to draw such an assinine statement ??
Besides-- there is no "high archy TO hell " --- scripturally the place was created FOR Satan and "his angels" as a place of torture and torment---not as a domain as so many THINK and believe !!
It is the Pride and Arrogance within the statement made that is at the core OF reasons why mankind is , at its very heart, based in thoughts that they are the "deciders" to what is the best---- and once again---scripturally-----"there is a way that seemth right unto man--- and--- the ways thereof are the ways of death " !!!!
So, brother, give me some of that servatude and hand it to me in double portions right now !!!!
As the Bob Dylan song "Serve Somebody" says----whoever you are---no matter WHO you are---or what you are--- YOU'RE GONNA HAVE TO SERVE SOMEBODY !!!!!!!!

It might be better to reign in hell with the so called devil so I can make it a better place for every soul. It is said that we have to fear God, I would not want to serve someone I have to fear, it would be true hell for me.

Either way, you're delusional to think there is a heaven and hell....when in fact it was a creation of our primitive barbarian ancestors to explain the unknown universe around them.
