I have a friend that I am afraid of losing for some reason. He is busy and I'm not. He is out and about and I am home alot. Sometimes I want to call him just to say hi, but I am afraid he'll tell me that he doesn't have time to talk. He has called me after not hearing from me for a week or more and has helped me with some things and has envited me to some social group gatherings. But we never have any one on one time. Is he afraid to be alone with me? He knows that I like him and we already had the "I just want to be friends" conversation. ....I don't know why I feel that he is gonna dissapoint on me. He only lives down the street from me. LOL!

Because he told you that he just wanted 2 be friends your scared that because you told him how you felt about him he's not gonna be friends with you anymore. (Or so Im thinking)
Anyways hun the best way would be to just be yourself really, let him know you'll be there for him when he needs you, just be friends with him & see where its takes you.
You may have lost hope in him ever seeing you that you look at him, but give it time and he may finally see you in a different light.

All the best hun.

faith is the answer i have a passage here,, read it,,.,,
1 Corinthians 13
Love
1If I speak in the tongues[a] of men and of angels, but have not love, I am only a resounding gong or a clanging cymbal. 2If I have the gift of prophecy and can fathom all mysteries and all knowledge, and if I have a faith that can move mountains, but have not love, I am nothing. 3If I give all I possess to the poor and surrender my body to the flames,[b] but have not love, I gain nothing.
4Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. 5It is not rude, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. 6Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. 7It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres.

8Love never fails. But where there are prophecies, they will cease; where there are tongues, they will be stilled; where there is knowledge, it will pass away. 9For we know in part and we prophesy in part, 10but when perfection comes, the imperfect disappears. 11When I was a child, I talked like a child, I thought like a child, I reasoned like a child. When I became a man, I put childish ways behind me. 12Now we see but a poor reflection as in a mirror; then we shall see face to face. Now I know in part; then I shall know fully, even as I am fully known.

13And now these three remain: faith, hope and love. But the greatest of these is love.

We can never change the direction of the wind; but you can always adjust your sails just to reach him.

Hope you'll stay in touch with him for the rest of your lives and always remain 'til you can.

Besides, what are friends? Friends are people who're apart yet can still grow together in spirit. Right?
