there seems to be a lot of homes/condos being sold in the Alief District of Houston. Can you tell me about this area? Thank you

In real estate there's term that says alot of houses, alot of crimes. Im not a realtor but crime on that area has grown, I used to live near-by but the entire Houston/Alief area and move to Katy, and proudly I say "We have the best school district in TX". Give us a try

There are nice parts of the Alief District. There's also some pretty low-budget areas that border on slum. It's too big an area to comment on it general - unless you ask about their once high-rated schools, which have fallen to about the same level of HISD.
There was a huge exodus of the middle class out of the Alief area that started about 5-7 years when new neighborhoods were built in Sugarland and Katy. As a result, there are still many homes for sale.
