Izzie does not like her because she is the rebound girl. She threw herself at George after the incident with Meredith. Then she pushed her way into their lives, moving in with George and walking around the house naked until George told her she was rushing him. Next she sleeps with Mark. George finds up about it and Callie assaults Meredith in Izzie's presence. George breaks up with Callie. His father dies. He goes sex crazy with Callie. Callie tells Izzie to take care of it. Izzie gets an eyeful of George's penis. She tells him not to use sex as a coping mechanism. Instead he elopes with Callie. Izzie sees it as one big mistake and Callie thinks this is an attempt to break things up. It is as George says "Izzie being Izzie". But now she hates her because she mentioned how all Izzie's friends are dying off. Callie is right though, without George, she and the girls could be friends, but; without George would she even want to be their friends?

Meredith has tried to be Callies friend but Callie knows that George wanted her first.

Alex has no opinion on the girl but after George and He slept with the same girl once and gave the hospital syphillis, I don't see him falling for Callie anytime soon.

Christina and Callie seem to get along when they are working but there is that thing about Callie attacking Meredith, "her person".

Add to this Callie is friends with both Miranda, their resident, and Addison Derek's ex and you can see how there could be some problems making things work.

And, I would have gone for old over fat. She is four years older than them. that make problems in and of itself.

No, I like Callie. I think she is good for George. A little too good. Dang, George was stupid to get mad at her about being a heiress(rich). She explained that it messed up past relationships and wanted to wait till the right time to discuss the matter. Callie is hot. I can't believe George described Izzie as a supermodel in front of Callie. So what that make me Callie replied. George always apologizes because he keeps saying stupid things. I would pick her before I would pick Izzy if I was a dude. She looks like a California babe. Just with a little more meat that's all. Most guys now prefer ladies with more meat than bones.
I agree they (Meredith and Izzie) need to give Callie a break. Ever since they met her their has been confusion. They need to respect George's choice. But, it's too late because Thursday Izzie and George got drunk and slept together. Mind you Callie and George just talked about how Izzie had feelings for him. And George denied the notion of him and Izzie. And also if you remember in the beginning of the episode Callie asked him to talk about something else other than Izzie while eating breakfast.

I don't think so. I think Meredith & Izzie & the others just treat her that way because her first morning there she walked around topless & didn't think twice about doing her business right in front of them (kinda personal, don't you think?). And she's just not "one of them (the interns)."
