It is indeed a rose, closer to the wild rose.

It's a shrub rose and the name is Greenmantle.
You can look at the next photo and the file name says "greenmantle2002-06-02.jpg".

(1895) Perhaps the most fragrant of all the Penzance hybrids, producing sweet-smelling flowers as well as strongly scented leaves. Flowers: bright pinkish red, prominent white eye, yellow stamens.

It looks like the wild roses that grow in ditches and by the side of the road.

Have tried to find the name of this rose for you. Similar ones would be Rosa Ballerina (might even be it), Rosa Escapade (flowers deeper pink), or Rosa Petit Four. Hope this helps.

Looks like a minature rose of sort. Either a creeper or florabunda rose?

Its a rose. I have the same in my garden. But I don't know the common name of the variety.
