I think each country should be what it is, we should not try to force our beliefs of democracy on others. America has always been a democratic country therefore how can we say other forms of government is wrong? We are a young country, we could learn a lot from others

Democracy is a form of government. Today, the term democracy is often used to refer to representative, liberal democracy, but there is no necessity that democracies be liberal (i.e. respectful of individual liberty and property) and in some cases may be illiberal democracies. Large populations seem to necessitate the representative aspect, though. There are many other varieties and the methods used to govern differ. While the term democracy is typically used in the context of a political state, the principles are also applicable to other bodies such as intergovernmental organizations, non-governmental organizations, grassroot organizations, labor unions, industry trade groups, professional bodies, and learned societies.
Under democracy all people are considered equal and there is no aparthied policy or racial discrimination done under this type of government. Democracy gives the right for each and every individul to take part in voting their candidate or representative for the government, they can speak out their views, they can criticise on any aspects which the government is not taking attention.
Democracy gives many kinds of freedon to the people. So many people try to adopt this type of government as soon as they get a chance to. Over 150 countries has now adopted democracy into thier country only few more countries adopt monarchy, theoracy etc.
