I personally am very politically active, from my local school board (I have no kids) to belonging to a federal party. I will never knock anyone for what they stand for, because at least they take a stand. You really need to start in your own backyard. To dive in and think you will run the UN or make an address in congress is lofty thoughts. I think of part of being politically active in your own town/province/state/country also makes you responsible for keeping up on world affairs and that means doing your own research and not just following everyone Else's lead.
Make sure you have a healthy balance for your news because the same story will have two or three different twists. So it is all about reading/watching/listening and weeding out the crap for the truth.
I am not American but the feeling catches

Sometimes I feel like giving up since I can't do anything really but I hate that politics are involved in every aspect of our lives. There are just some decisions that shouldn't be made with political motives . But I keep talking and hopefully the right person will listen and make some changes.

Well, there is a problem in your question.
You are asking about "our" politics, but then ask about what happens around the world. It does not work. There is no one government that "we" belong to worldwide.
However. No. I do not give two rats rears about the politics. What I care about is the actual policy that is enacted and enforced by either party, and the realized ramifications and true repercussions from those policy decisions...including the law of unintended consequences.
But. No, I really don't care about the mud-slinging, the back-stabbing, the debasing of everyone's character etc. That is just smoke and mirrors...so we don't pay any attention to what is really happening.

I Do, but i hate our government. Too Corrupt. The people are suppose to be in control; not the government. Politics is getting out of hand because the government see themselves as too powerful to touch. People's voices don't even matter anymore. Our faith, hope, pride, strength and money has been taken away from us. So i say screw it... screw it all.

Honestly, it does worry me. However, I don't delude myself as to the actions I can take to change anything. Politics is not my station in life. I can only remain secure in my personal beliefs in the matter.

I really don't care.
There are very few who try to stand up to it but the government is so much more powerful they will do what they want regardless of what Americans want
