(UK) Currently its all fitted in but the outlet hose (came fitted) is too short to reach waste pipe.

I kept the hose from the old dishwasher. In fact I cut the old tube at the waste pipe so that I've got a length drop of old hose still fitted and running from the waste pipe.

Is there any device to join the two outlet hoses securely ??

Some sort of proper joining mechansim ? If there is, would there be any certain size to get ?

At the moment I've got both hoses (dishwasher outlet and secondary old one to waste pipe, linked by tape and a jubilee clip around... it works but its so loose... the join could easily fall apart and cause a big leakage.

Thanks.

Just pop down to your nearest domestic appliance dealer.
You can buy a joint coupling or even better you can buy a longer hose. Just tip the machine and remove the clip off the old one and fit the new one...Simple as that

Dishwasher Waste Pipe

i usually use a soft piece of copper 5/8" OD that fits the ID of the hose. [to purchase proper size take in a small bit of the hose and trial fit the copper to the hose] I even make a loop in the copper, about 24" long, that i fasten to the underside of the counter top. [this acts as a back flow preventer it your disposer/sink even clogs and the water wanted to back up the hose to the dishwasher.]

so all you need to do is buy the copper and two good hose clamps. bend a loop in the copper and cut the hose you have to add the copper in at the right point. use the cut off piece of hose to complete the line to the disposer.

even if you just want a secure coupling for the hoses you can use a bit of copper inside the two pieces with two clamps.

either way make sure you debur inside the ends of the copper so it doesn't snag something.

good luck and be safe

Washing Machine Waste Extension

Two things:
1.replace the hose with a longer one piece hose the same size.
2. Buy a sleeve, smaller than your pipe, place into the two hoses. Clamp the hoses with two clamps one on either side of the join. This should work for you.

Either buy a longer one-oiece hose or get a union coupling at an appliance store. Good luck

You would be better buying a waste extension hose.
These come with the correct joining coupler, I have found one on ebay for you that is £4.25 on a buy now deal.
I have sent you the link to save time for you.
Hope this helps.

The same thing happened to my washing machine and I got the part off an old machine in the municipal dump. It's free and kind to the environment.

You don't need to go higher than the machine to create higher pump head, go along the wall and then down into the fixed drain pipe.
