No, you only get a point for a thumbs up on an answer. The star isn't worth anything.

Points and Levels

No. You get 10 points for earning a best answer, and 1 point for each star added to your answer. Askers only lose 5 points, and gain 3 back when their question is resolved. Net loss: 2 points.

not that i know of, but if someone picks ur answer as best, u get points for the thumbs up that u get on ur answer

No you don't. I wish you did but, if you have a look at the amount of answers and questions you have per day, it will tell you there, and unfortunetly you don't..
