Ya just gotta play alot, keep practicing. When I was learning I put those little Band-Aids on the tips of my fingers! Another good thing is , I don't know watcha callem, it's an exercise thing that you squeeze. A tennis ball works great too for arm strength. Have fun though!!!!! It's a beautiful thing playing acoustic guitar! You can play 1000 songs with 3 chords!! :-) Ya gotta check out lyrics.com for like, Bobby Dylan and Bruce Springsteen and John Prine Lyrics. 3 chords and 1000 songs.

it extremely relies upon on the man. once you've strong hand-eye coordination, it will be ordinary for you. If no longer, then you definitely ought to take somewhat longer than others. it really is likewise depending on how dedicated you're to getting to be conscious of. in case you install say an hour an afternoon, it wont take you lengthy in any respect. if you're making plans to be self taught then you definitely could put in fairly some attempt. it really is how I discovered and it took fairly some dedication and willingness to locate the great procedures to study and to verify out the position on the information superhighway to seem. it isn't a tough device to play, even if it really is a tough device to play nicely. everybody can study the needed chords, yet in case you want to move technique and progressed qualifications, that takes dedication. wish this facilitates, and strong success to you!

One word: Practice.
You're fingers will hurt but don't let that discourage you.
Before I play I usually wiggle my fingers and make them less stiff. I then do a routine of various exercises which strengthen my fingers and allow me to stretch my fingers further apart.
These exercises are very simple and you can probably find them online. Just google something along the lines of "guitar exercises" and you should find something.

That`s completely normal, keep practicing, you`ll get better at that, how is the action on the neck ? if it`s too high that can cause problems, there is a product called fret glide that helps, but it also helps collect dirt on the fret board.
